... You are NOT forsaken!"My G-D, My G-D, why have You utterly forsaken Me?" For all today who are feeling forsaken ... feeling like your dreams and visions - even the promises you have held onto, the ones you believe He gave to you ... feeling like they have been forgotten, tossed to one side, even destroyed. You have cried out and cried out until you feel there is no rest from your grief and tears (Psalm 22:3). Everything you once knew suddenly feels lost and gone ... maybe you have been left feeling lost, crumpled in a heap where life has hit you harder than you ever expected; you didn't see it coming - it came as a shock - a low blow and the enemy is doing his utmost to kick you while you are down. From somewhere so deep, there is an empty place where you are left to wonder where on earth comfort can be found ... "where is there comfort? " You cry out for mercy in your anguish ... "where is there mercy?" You cry out for justice and peace in the midst of all you have suffered ... "where is there peace?" You cry out for a gentle touch in the midst of the harsh world you've known ... "where is there gentleness?" Maybe you are feeling desperate for the Light to finally break through into the dark place where you suddenly find yourself ... "where is there Light?" Where is there kindness? Where is there hope? Where is there love?" You may be crying out from the depths of despair ... HEAVEN COME DOWN! COME DOWN AND BE REAL! I hear the voice of one crying ... "ON EARTH AS IT IS IN HEAVEN ... I actually want the whole world to hear! I want to scream and shout it from the roof-tops! Come see!!! This man who told me all things that I ever did! Come ... look and see what I see as I too look from a place not so far from you ... I look and I see the One hung on a tree ... The One who was able to raise Yeshua from the grave Is the very same One who is able to raise you up, that your enemy will not triumph over you (Psalm 41) -------------------------- *click on the 'Read More' below to see A Psalm of David To the Bright and Morning Star Psalm 22 "My G-D, my G-D, why have You utterly forsaken me? Why are You so far from helping me, from the words of my groaning? O my G-D, I cry in the daytime, but You do not hear, and in the night season, but there is no rest for me from grief and tears. But You are holy, O You who are enthroned on the praises of Israel. Our fathers trusted in You: they trusted and You did deliver them. They cried to You and were delivered: they trusted in You and were not put to shame. But I am a worm and not a man; a reproach of men and despised by the people. All those who see me laugh me to scorn. They shoot out the lip, they shake the head saying, he trusted in the L-RD that He would deliver him. He will rescue him, for He delights in him. But You are He who took me out of the womb: You made me hope when I was upon my mother's breasts. I was cast upon You from the womb: You are my G-D from my mother's belly. Do not be far from me! For trouble is near, for there is no one to help. Many bulls have surrounded me. Strong, violent bulls of Bashan have beset me all around. They gaped upon me with their mouths, like a tearing and roaring lion. I am poured out like water and all my bones are out of joint. My heart is like wax, it is melted in the midst of my insides. My strength is dried up like a potsherd and my tongue cleaves to my jaws and You have brought me into the dust of death, for dogs have surrounded me, the assembly of the wicked has enclosed me. Like a lion they tear my hands and my feet. I may tell all my bones: they look and stare upon me. They part my garments among them and cast lots for my clothing. But do not be far from me, L-RD! O my strength, hasten to help me. Deliver my life from the lion's mouth, for You have heard me from the horns of the wild oxen. I shall declare Your name to my brothers: I shall praise You in the midst of the congregation. You, who revere the L-RD, praise Him, all you the seed of Jacob! Glorify Him and revere Him, all you seed of Israel! For He has not despised or abhorred the affliction of the afflicted. Neither has He hidden His face from him, but when he cried to Him, He heard. My praise will be of You in the great congregation. I shall pay my vows before those who revere Him. The humble will eat and be satisfied. Those who seek Him will praise the L-RD: Your heart will live forever. All the ends of the world will remember and turn to the L-RD, and all the families of the nations will worship before You. For the Kingship is the L-RD's in the same manner He is over the nations. All those who are fat on earth will eat and worship: all those who do down to the dust will bow down before Him and no one can keep alive his own body. A seed will serve Him. It will be accounted to the L-RD for a generation. They will come and will declare His acts of loving kindness to a people that will be born, that He has done this.
